Sushi for days

Blue Sushi Sake Grill has several locations in the Midwest and tons of vegan options! Pictured here are the avocado roll, Unami Maki (BBQ eggplant "eel" with vegan cream cheese), Inari (fried tofu pocket with rice) and Tobiko Caviart (seaweed caviar). These are just the ones I ordered, but they have several more options!

Review of each roll:

  • Avocado Roll - Classic and simple. Perfect with a bit of soy sauce! 10/10

  • Unami Maki - Several different flavors in one small bite. Slightly sweet, and the cream cheese really makes this roll complete. 9/10

  • Inari - The tofu is unexpectedly sweet. Not my favorite, but still good! 7/10

  • Tobiko Caviart - I have never had any kind of caviar, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but it is very pickle-y. Don't get me wrong, I love a good dill pickle, but I didn't really love this roll. Definitely unique! 4/10
